The Little Apple Cat Fanciers Association (LACFA) is a local chapter of the American Cat Fanciers Association (ACFA), located in Manhattan,
Kansas. Monthly meetings are conducted on the second Saturday of each month at
the Hanson household, beginning at 200p.
Our Mission
The LACFA has as it's primary purpose the education of cat owners and breeders in matters relating to the health, safety and
welfare of their cats. The club intends to host community outreach programs through seminars and cat shows (both local household
pet shows and eventually sanctioned ACFA judged shows). These programs will be designed to offer local and regional animal
shelters the opportunity to display pets available for adoption, discuss proper veterinary care and to encourage the spaying or
neutering of cats not used for breeding purposes. All interested individuals are welcome and encouraged to attend our monthly
meetings.
Our Sponsers
We would like to give a special thanks to Waste Management of Manhattan, Kansas for their generosity in helping us with our 2006 Annual Cat show!
